I personally chose white gold as I have some plain metal showing on my ring and I don’t love the patina (change in texture resulting from wear) that platinum develops. One more thing to consider- platinum is more expensive than white gold, but white gold will need to be rhodium plated every so often to maintain that bright white color. We saved a lot of money on the diamond that way. I am in the US, but ordered my diamond from Adiamor (similar site to Ritani) and had it set at a local jeweler.
